The eye of the beholder.

They told me that ‘It is all in the eye of the beholder…’

 

As what I saw looked very real, I assumed that assessment had to be true.

 

But when I saw what lies beyond, I realized I was holding on to my shortsightedness instead of opting for a broader vision.
